Some of these issues include anxiety, depression, and fatigue. It is a privilege to be able to care to give but also maybe trauma and full of stress. Either voluntary caregiving or the paid ones, the effect may be seen on the caregivers in the form of mental, emotional, and physical strain.

Below are some of the basic signs of caregiver burnout:

  1. Headaches.
  2. Change in behavioral patterns.
  3. Lack of sleep.
  4. Increased emotional sensitivity.
  5. Feeling exhausted.

The caregivers are more likely to have stressful experiences if they are female, have personal issues, or are financially unstable. Sometimes they are not able to manage the mental disturbances and it directly affects their health.
